San Diego RV parks

Any recommendations for an RV Park near the zoo and Sea World in San Diego? We are thinking about spending a week or so there in February. -- Doug

Better check price before planning on Mission Bay RV Resort. Last time I checked it was over $150 per night.

Chula Vista RV Resort and Marina,Has public transportation to all the places you mention. Will be there last week of January first week of February. Have friends in area reccomended this park never been myself.

Okay, I live in San Diego County and go to Campland for a week in the summer every year. It is spendy, but the problem is that there are not very many campgrounds in the Sea World area. Mission Bay and Campland are both very close to Sea World, you can see them a mile away across the bay. There is also the San Diego county Parks, the State Parks such as Silver Strand, Carlsbad State Park and San Elijo State park. All of these are within 30 minutes of Sea World. There's also a couple of KOAs in the area as well. Good Luck!
