Does or do any of yall know anything about Next Gen drivetrain San Diego , CA in relation to the Aisin 6sp auto? They claim to have a bullet proof version of this transmission to replace the OEM. Pricey at $9K so I am asking here for possible input on this outfit. Any opinions? I am having a problem with a "chirp" with a 3 to 4 shift and they think a clutch pac is on its way out. Anyway.......
tks, dg

The 3-4 chirp isn’t common, but it isn’t rare. It’s not supposed to be anything to worry about. It happens on brand new units too.

Most definitely They do, but if this little "chirp" could lead to major breakage in the middle of nowhere, I want to be informed, wouldnt yall ??

It isn't going to break, these transmissions aren't known to break. You have a medium duty commercial transmission and it behaves like one, they aren't as refined as a normal light duty trans.
Don't try to fix what isn't broken.
Crank your stereo up ans enjoy the drive...:D

Ozymandias,
Thanks for your insight and helpful response! It is a fun rig to drive and I WORK IT!
This is my 4th CTD. Have an 01 with 321K , still runs strong!
