Expected Performance While Towing?

Leaving soon for Crestone Co. from San Francisco. Are there any diesel specific preperations I should make to my 02,3500,4x4 with a Lance 1030 to prepare for the change in climate and altitude?

wear a coat, evenings around the campfire can be a tad nippy this time of year. Seems I can't get my wardrobe right. . . pulled into Anchorage, AK wearing shorts and sandals. Pulled into Cocoa Beach, FL wearing long pants and quilted shirt. Drive through a couple seasons everyday, gets confusing. Others vehicle suggestions are valid, I don't change much else for altitude changes.

Cheers,

Steve J

I usually treated my fuel as soon as I left the Bay area. If I recall correctly, diesel begins to gel at around 20 to 25 degrees. Not a problem if the truck is running due to the fuel recirculation, but once shut down you may have some geling.

Happy Trails...
