Santa Fe, New Mexico Campgrounds

Heading to Santa Fe in a couple weeks and would like opinions/recommendations on campgrounds in the area.



The Santa Fe KOA campground is sitting right on Interstate 25 and I'm thinking the noise will keep us up at night. Anyone know of a nice campground in the area but not sitting right on the freeway? I'm pulling a 36 foot travel trailer.

Don't know if you specifically want to stay in Santa Fe, but if not, there is a nice campground, i. e. trees, stream, about 50 miles north called Ojo Caliente. Means 'hot eyes' b/c of the hot springs.

It's on the southern edge of Santa Fe. A nice place.

I can't find any details on the campground you mentioned. Do you have any info? We're looking for a place with full hook-ups. I'd like to find something that isn't sitting right on the freeway.
