Stopped by Savannah Dodge today to browse around a bit. And noticed a bunch of balloons and stuff, they were open on Sunday. Hmmmm I was thinking maybe a good day to try and get a good deal. When I heard on the P. A. system that registration for a door prize was taking place and coupons for future discounts were also being given to some of the winners in the drawing. Then they said that anyone not in the military was not included nor permitted to buy a vehicle today, since this event was for military only as a gesture of their appreciation for what the troops had done for this country. Well I appreciate the troops as much as the next guy. I am also hold a Merchant Mariners Document, and am preparing to take the CG exam for Master of Tugs. And I have also registered for call out should the Navy or Marines request I work for them in the service of vessels.
I have no problem with the Dealer offering rewards or incentives for the Military. But to exclude the public is crap. Don't they know that the public is the major contributor to the armed forces. Can anyone say tax dollars?
I won't be going to that dealer again, at least not under the current GM.
Good Day
Don
