Intake system question

Just a little note to let everyone know that 4 Wheel parts is having a huge sale and they are running there Free Shipping promotion again. Just thought it could save someone a few bucks on there next purchase.

I ran this exact same post on the "Diesel Truck Resource" site, and they yanked it, cause it was supposedly advertisement. I am just about sick of Jack Thorpe, he such a sicko. This fellow is so up tight he can not bend over, much less allow a little good info to reach the people with out him getting paid. Oh well, hope someone saves a buck, and maybe you could donate . 50 to jacko.

DTR and Thorpe are a Big Brother site. I like forming my own opinions within reason. Not being treated like a kid and being punished for having a healthy harmless debate with another adult. Thanks for the free harmless useful information.

Last time I ordered from 4w parts, even though they had free shipping, there was a $5 handling charge. They then handled the wrong part to my door, but in their defense they worked pretty good to make it right.

You know things just happen all the time, people will make mistakes and parts are sent out wrong. But the main thing is how they treat you when the mistake happens. I order alot by mail, 100% of all my mods both to the dodge and the rest of them come thur mail order. The web is a wonderful place to purchase parts, you can get anything you need and shop for the best prices. I have gotten a few orders messed up, three to be exact. Two were from 4 Wheel parts, and one from Amsoil. In all cases I was treated fairly and with respect, they were apologetic for the problem, and rectified the situation very fast. Oops, for got, make that 4, I had a part go bad with ATS and they too sent a new one ASAP. That is all you can ask for, and I can handle that. I have found that with a little time on my part, I can hunt around on the web and basically double my money. Between low prices, free shipping, and no taxes it truly pays to order over the web. Last year alone I spent over $16,000. 00 on parts, and they all came from the web. To me it is much better, I can visit the manufactures site, find the parts I need, get the right part numbers and go hunting for the best deal. I have my favorites, but I am always open to a new site, 4 Wheel parts is one of my favorites they seam to be very competitive on tires, lifts, winches and the like.

I agree, TDR is #1. I wouldn't buy ANYTHING from DTR.

From what I have seen lately over on DTR, it is an off duty cop hang out where they seem to enjoy critiqueing as well as get their jollies making wise cracks about video's of poor souls being shot with tasers.

The latest comments made about how these cops feel about the public are waaaay over the top and neo-fascist extremist. "Sheep hate the sheep dogs" Which is evidently how these cops feel towards the public and see themselves as the dogs and the rest of us as sheep. #@$%! Jack Thorpe appears to evidently encourages these types of comments to be posted.

Well, from the comments I didn't see any ADVERTISEMENTS or ENDORSEMENTS for DTR :-laf

Seriously the TDR in my experience has always been a place where credability and respect surface fastest. Everybody tries to be honestly helpful. Even if we are not always right we are upfront. Hand all 'round.

TDR is #1. I've been reading the posts for a few years and also going to the other sites such as Cumminsforum. This one is the best.

My main reason for this opinion is the members at TDR are so helpful and knowledgeable. That was my reason for joining.

Thanks!

About ordering thru the web, I agree with Y-knot %110! I have found so many better deals on the same part by just taking the time to look, and free shipping to Hawaii helps out alot!
