Probably 20 years ago Reba and another artist were talking about country music, the CMA awards were coming up and they called it "Country My Arse". Didn't stop her from crossing over though. The country music we grew up listening to is long gone except for the old recordings. bg

Last week I got to see a live concert by the Sons of the Pioneers. The year before that and the year before that I got to see a live concert by Lynn Anderson (got to meet her). I was greatly saddened when she died recently.

Lots of the good stuff on this station broadcasting from FE Warren AFB in Cheyenne, WY. I got lucky enough to to stumble on it's mirror station that is broadcast out of Keystone, SD on 99.5 while at work one night. Best playlist of any station I've ever heard before!

News and weather on the top of the hour with maybe a sponsor or two chiming in, but no DJ's ever!! I wish there was a station like this playing from Casper. Oh well... At least it makes me look forward to going to work where I can hear it!

There's one in Houston that only plays Country Classics, 97.1 FM. I also get 6 Sirus stations on Dish Network. Best one is 6059 which I think is Sirus SX59. bg
