Rusty, I dont think I wrote anywhere in my post that the Goverment sould tell anyone where to live. If people (well let me go ahead and not be so politically correct) white people dont start thinking with the right head and quit useing the head between our shouders two rest a base ball cap on things are only going to get worst. Heres a little statistic for ya. I was working a set-up the week before last and in one hour five gasoline burning cars came through the set-up rolling blue smoke out the tale pipes like a worn out farm tractor and guess what all the cars were being drivin by grown white adults who know better and obviously dont car and these cars were not junk either and not that old. You know what I call these type people????? Stupid White people. You ought to see the look on the Black peoples facies at work when I say that. You would be amazed what I see white people do every day on the highways. Spend eight to ten hours a day on the highway like I do five to six days a week and you will figure it out. Now heres some facts for ya , the little nice country town that I use to live in(well I still live in it but it aint nice, little or country any more) people, white people now started moving mostly out of Texas City, La Marque and Galveston to put their precious little children in our all white school. Now let me see here we have moved 15 to 30 imiles away from where we use to live but we have not change jobs,we still have our job at the chiemical plant that now we have to drive 15 miles to every day now instead of maybe 5 miles or we have to drive to Galveston that is 20 to 30 miles away now to our job. Now we could get a job here in town(well I need to say city now)but we dont have ant high paying jobs in this city(maybe economical develoment will cure that problem)Now let me see now before we were driving 5 miles now we are driving 15 to 30,Humm you think we might be poluting more. You see people only live for the Heat of the Moment, never concern about the future. Heres a nother fact for ya Sixty Minutes or Fourty Eight hours did a little test about a month ago on TV. They took two cars in Dallas Texas a 78 Ford Fairmont that a old black man drove to work and home and to the store and did very little runing around, his job was not far from his house and a almost new Chevy Suburban that a yuppie white woman own that lived out in the suburbs and drove back and fourth into the city four times a week and did a lot of runing around. They put devices on both cars for two weeks to see who was poluting the most. Guess who was, go a head take a guess------------ the almost new Suburban. Oh and since you have meet me Rusty you know that I am white so I dont have to be racist to talk about white people. Like a few of my Police buddies are always saying " white people,we are our own enemies "

The point is I never posted that the Government should tell people where to live and the other point is cars, trucks and people play a big role in pollution in Texas( especially around all the big cities ). If the people in this State don't start taking responsibility for this and face the facts and face reality thing's are going to get worse and this State will turn into another California, you will just think things are bad now. There was a article in our local newspaper two weeks ago that said Galveston county residents are exposed to 456 times the cancer-causing air pollution than they should be under the federal Clean Air Act. In Texas Galveston County ranked behind only Harris and Dallas Counties. Texas residents breath air with a 364 times greater amount of pollutants envisioned under the Clean Air Act. The State led the nation in levels of 1. 3 butadiene which causes leukemia, circulatory and neurological diseases. Texas ranks second in levels of diesel shoot-"exhaust from automobiles" construction machinery and other engines. In my 47 years I have never seen such a article in a newspaper saying this about Galveston County. I wonder what is causeing the problem. Could it be that district 12 has more autombiles registered in it than any other district in the State and it has been this way for only the last ten years and the numbers are steady going up. So go ahead lets kick economical development, progress, growth and urban sprawl in high gear and over lay the whole State in cement and asphalt so we can line those cars up on the roads like a freight train loaded with coal going to a light plant and keep building houses on top of houses so we can stack people in them like sardines in a can cause it wont hurt nobody, things are going to get better. Yeah right. The point is it ain't my fault yall have blinders on like a race horse and cannot face the facts and face reality. End of party, end of time, end of story.
