Hi,

I've been one of those lurkers for a while, gathering indispensable information about these CTDs. I ended up buying what I believe to be a great deal (at least for around here  ) on a 95 2500 with CTD a little over a month ago, so now I can 'officially' justify signing up. I owned a supercharged t-bird before this, and knew that car like the back of my hand, but when it comes to CTD / trucks, I'm in totally new water. (Although, I have already really grown to appreciate not having to jack up the vehicle just to do an oil change, or any other work for that matter).

Just thought I should introduce myself,

Stephan :D

Welcome Stephan and get ready to make that credit card smoke.

There is a great bunch a guys here and they are full of some great information. They have saved my bacon several times!

Enjoy,

Scott

Hahaha, thanks guys. You all are starting to worry me with this credit card business. See, I don't have one, I like to save up and pay with cash, but maybe it's time I get one. Is this the not so sutle hint I'm getting:eek:

Wise beyond your years. Stick to it. A check card works just fine--as do postal money orders.

I signed on in late May of 02, didn't buy truck until June 8. Found this place looking for it.

Now I have two to play with, and have spent a few hundred hours searching, reading, posting, and getting my keyboard and mouse greasy. ;)

WELCOME aboard.

WOW, I am amazed ... ... ... ... ... ... ... . saying Hi for the first time and he already knows how to run a puter ;)

Dont mind me I am just one of the wise guys around here... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ..... WELCOME FRIEND!!!

Cheers, Kevin

Hey Whitmore, you have made me laugh at least three times today alone :)

Yeah, I do get the research bug. I hear about something and then have to know every aspect about it, put that in addition to being a current Criminal Justice student who has to research just aboout everything else on a daily basis and it makes for a bit of quick learning. Actually, this site was where I found out that PDR existed (you should have seen the smile on my face when I realized I am 30 minutes from both BD and PDR) and I took my 95 there and paid them for two hours labour to go through the suspension and drive train and anything else they could find. I made it clear with the dealer and Piers that I had no problem finding out that there was a bunch of things 'wrong' with the truck, but that I wanted to know so I could plan accordingly. Anyways, long story short, both dealer and PDR were very helpful and the truck was in amazingly good shape for having 190,000miles on it, so now it is my favourite thing to see out the morning when I get up. Doing that has been the biggest piece of mind I have gotten. Money well spent. Oo.
