I wouldn't say that. I have been thru 11 autos. That is with different companys to boot.

no way. too many things to fail. stronger than a 4500 maybe.

but here is the kicker for everyone here, the 5600 is fine, the transmission guy called me and said every bearing looks new, all shaft movement is within spec, everything looks to be in great shape.

so today i tore down and rebuilt my 241DLD to see if anything there was broke. . nothing i can find. so my plan is to put it back together and drive it til i can find a used 271 for sale. then im gonna swap that in and have a new rear DS made. havent decided on the one piece and slip yoke, or the SYE with a flange and keep the two piece.
