Scammed over the Internet? Have a look at this!

I'm posting a link here to the Turbo Buick discussion forum. Few guys there had a big problem with one troll scamming them... . and they took action in a big way! Interesting read if you've got the time (it's 14 pages long as of today!) and it may help some of you out who've ever been scammed in this way...

41,810 reads of that thread!!!! And over 300 replies for 14 pages. I e-mailed Joe1320 to get his list of things you need to do to nail the scammers. So if anyone needs them (hope not!) I will have them available.

It's funny how that thing has generated replies from just about every automotive forum in the world; Australia, England, etc. Reminds me of... when was it? Last summer?... when there was a link to a topic on the Ford Explorer forums about a guy who was putting on the Herculiner do-it-yourself bedliner, and he got some of it on his... privates , and he was asking how to get it off? Anybody remember that one? That had to have been the funniest thing I have ever read anywhere, some of the replies were hilarious.

I wonder whatever happened to the guy who "Herc'd his hootus"?

Might be better to wait a few months till he turns 18, try him as an adult. Sure seems as though he has his scam down much beyond his 17 years. Wonder if he sells Amsoil also?
