scangauge II wiht 98.5 clearing codes

Has anyone had a problem with clearing codes using ther Scangauge II. I can have a code and it will ask me to clear codes then when I push yes I get a blank screen. Your experience appreciated Ed

I was running the Scanguage II and it worked great. Nice display and easy to use.

Only needed to clear codes twice and it worked fine.

I've since upgraded to the Insight monitor because I liked the way it looked and it displays rail pressure.

I am glad to hear it worked for you, I will check it again with my son inlaws unit and see if it workd differantly. thanks Ed

Mine did that at first, but if I tried to clear the codes without the engine running and the key on, it would work.

Thanks I will give it a try, my pac brake will throw 3 codes any time it is used DTT said it has something to do with a california truck and there trans lockup controller. I DID clear it once but all other times it failed to clear. I will give your idea a try again. ED
