Update: Received two small data loggers that each plugged into the OBD port (one at a time). They said to plug the ECM Logger in, drive for 30 minutes until the readout says done, and then plug in the TCM Logger and do the same thing. One is to read the Engine CM outputs and the other for the Transmission CM outputs. I dropped both back in the prepaid envelope and they are on their way back today. Will let you know when I hear from the with the recommended list of X-Gauge codes. Hopefully well have the opportunity to have a fully programmed and working ScanGauge II by Christmas!
P.S. I trust this won't turn into a "Flame the other Guy's Monitor" as I've owned both the CTS2 84130 and the ScanGauge II for my old Ecodiesel, the CTS2 84132 for my current Cummins (which I gave to my son for his new Cummins) and am currently using the ScanGauge II on my Cummins. Both have a purpose and like the color of our trucks, each one has an individual following. I just old school, am used to very simple digital readouts and don't need the gauges. On the other hand, my son would take a ScanGauge if you gave it to him as it's too simplistic. I'm just glad we all have a choice as there are plenty of monitors out there to the point we don't need to be hammering on each other for the choice.
Thanks for the update...waiting to hear back from you
