i did learn today that the PPE HOT revs to 3700rpms...

someone says the bullydog is the same but i have never seen that high.

PBax, what kind of times are you running? I have a 62 and the scary program. . Have you ever dynoed it? Thanks. .

dyno day is March 10... . but i need to get something to reliably stack with my Scary larry that boost fools. TS MP8 doesn't consistently boost fool with the bullydog nor does my Quadzilla stuff. Its a Bullydog software problem  i'm calling Dr. Performance today and seeing what they have to offer and will keep my fingers crossed.

Keep me posted. What will the boost fooling do? Last time out, mine did 13. 0's. I know the weight (a little over 8,000 with me in it) is my biggest downfall. I would just like it to consistantly run in the solid 12's. My next addition will be a torque converter lockup switch to see if that puts me where I want to be.

I was being easy you are raising questions about a program that you have no clue as to what type of parameters it has.

Look, I don't want to get into a pi$$ing match with you. There is no need. It helps nobody. I am not saying I agree or disagree with you, but simply that I have some questions I want answered before I run the program.

I believe R Painter has been very forth coming with you in trying to answer your questions. No one but Bulldog knows what the parameters are, and they will not acknowledge that the program even exsisted. It is a very rough program at best, and users are cautioned not to stack it with anything else. It is the "pinks" program used on Bullydog's truck, which raced last year. It was designed for the 05' auto. Thus the nick name "scary Larry" and is intended for race application only. It will tear-up your transmission, built or not, and because it is a rough program, egt's and such are hard on the truck. It is not intended for everyday driving. Xtreme and a few other Bullydog dealers were given this program. It was not and will not be given to the general public or via Bully Dogs web site. Xtreme lost the program, and apparently wicked diesel has it. When Xtreme had it, you had to sign a waiver of liablity before they would load it to your triple dog programer. The program allows you to remove the torque management completely, and provides an option for low end torque like the "crazy larry". It is stronger then the "crazy larry" program. If you purchase this program, you use it at your own risk... . :-laf end of story

No, I call this forthcoming. Very simple and straight to the point explanations. No "You don't know this," and "you don't know that's. " Thats all i was looking for. Thanks, Herber.

We tried the TM delete and I think it felt like the Smarty with the new "wild" programming..... not streetable. And it only let me go 35mph... aka the TM delete is not for manuals. :-laf It went into limp mode.

So, we put the TM back on and ran it. I think the Smarty is more powerfull but I cant utilize the high rpm band the "Scary Larry" has without slipping my clutch, (and yes they both slip my clutch)I stacked it with A EZ, and tried all levels, more pressure equaled more smoke. I wish we could get two trucks alike and race them side by side.

The SL has a really smooth power band, compared to the Smarty, but the Smarty just has a AWSOME bottom end. I would love to see a dyno sheet with a Smarty and Scary Larry, and see the diffrerence in power as they move through the rpm range.

PBax said the SL made 100hp more on the dyno than the Smarty on someones truck(i cant remember who) But you know how it goes... ... ... ... ..... every truck is different. :)

I should have 2 trucks at Mopars at the strip,1 with the Smarty and the other with the scarry larry. both have the same mods one is auto other is 6spd.
