I was looking for a grease for HD Clutches and came across them... I use their products in the shop and in the trucks... I think its a fine product... I like the fact that I deal with a local distributor... Who has stock when I need it. . We buy their grease by the 55 gal barrel... .

Its a quality product...

That Bob the oil guy uses "fuzzy" experiments on his website. I was there once and wasn't really thriled with the way he conducted his tests. Kinda shady if ya ask me. As far as the oils go, never really heard anything bad about them. Dad had a problem with the guy selling it around here a while ago, that's why we don't use it. If you've got a good dealer around you, go for it.

311,000 miles and still ticking. I know I don't have a 3rd gen, but I thought this might help. Next Level did you say they do your oil sampling? How do you go about getting that done?

I have used their engine oil and gear oil for about ten years now. Recently started using their auto transmission fluid. The information I have is that they produce a high quality product.

I see the Texaco distributor down the hill from me carries Shaeffer products - in fact, the 55 gal. burning barrel I got from them had been a Shaeffer container.
