Competition What Gear to Sled Pull In??

Competition Hello?? Anyone Out There????

No, this is not a typo, Scheid and crew are coming to the ATS sponsored, High Desert Diesel Roundup, Sept! 24, 25. The west coast is finally going to get a chance to see Scheid Diesel power in person. I would give more info about Scheid, but I don't think an introduction is needed. You've seen Kent Crowder and "The Truck" in pictures and video, now you get to see it live right here in Southern California @ LACR. If all goes as planned, Eric McBride and the Scheid Diesel dragster will also be out to make some passes down the 1/4 mile! I can't think of a better way to cap off the 2005 season! I don't know about the rest of you, but I am pumped, lets get get it on! The LACR/DHRA drag series is going down to the wire with about 5 guys fighting for the points title. Between this, the pulls, the Big Rigs, the vendors. . .

I want to thank in advance, Dan Scheid and his crew, Eric McBride, and our sponsors, ATS Diesel Performance, Diesel Performance Shops, and Hunter Dodge. Also, a special thanks to the TDR for their continued support of the High Desert Diesel Roundup. The time has come, are you ready?

***Note - Keep in mind, this is a charity event for kids, the organization handling the event, is setting up a special fund for children who were victims of Hurricane Katrina.

Thats awsome I cant wait to see it run in person

I guess I better put the big injectors in :) And crank the rpm up about 2500 more rpm.

I can't wait!!! Last time I was at a pull I only got to see John Deere tractors and multi-engined alcohol tractors.

Time to see the real deal! Truck pulls are much more entertaining.

Just a heads up- Borg Warner Turbo Systems is putting up some prize money for the drags and pulls. Awards are as follows -

Winner of fast 4 - $200/or $400 if using Borg Warner parts

Winner of Pro Street pulling Class - $200 / or $400 if using Borg Warner parts

For the Pro Street Pulling Class, that is $500 1st place prize money, plus the money from Borg Warner - up to $400 - Thats a total of $900 possible $$$ to win one class :--) The plot continues to thicken.

I would also like to welcome Hi Tech Turbo and Lorenz Industries on board in addition to our other vendors.
