Have a Scheid Lightning Pump, 13mm plungers and set at 600cc of flow. Pump is in the locked position. Engine is at TDC. The way I understand it is that with the engine at TDC and the pump locked, I should be able to place the hub w/ key on the pump and then install the gear with the 0* bushing in the gear. Now the engine and pump should be set to a stock timing. Is this correct? Next thing is, how much to advance the timing for a highly modifed engine with large injectors, large single turbo, and a fully ported head set to run at 5000 rpm. Can anyone help.
