The main point is not how the SII system helps in the intake manifold temps. . Its the inlet temp to the compressor on the turbo. Efficiency there is what this system enhances, not how well your intercooler works.

I have basically outlined how you will increase the efficiency of the turbocharger with cooler air and reduce WASTED Hp on your fan and engine with excess heat in the intercooler. Also the inprovement in how your drive pressure to the turbocharger will be better used to compress dense air and be in the turbo's efficiency curve. I posted some mock curves etc. .
