Does any one make a fine screen that can slide down in front of all the radiators ? My truck is such a bug magnet .I need something to keep every thing bug free up front .

I've used window screen held in place with zip ties on both my prior '98 and current '06 for a total of over 250K miles. Occasional shaking of it removes most of the bugs, butterflies and other debris that was kept out of the radiator grid. I'll install the same on any truck I own.

Way back in the day my older brother decided to live in Florida. I went down to visit him and was amazed that every place I went into sold vehicle bug screens. At the time I did not know about their love bugs but soon found out and purchased one. The love bug guts are so acidic it would actually eat through the wax and paint. I see them being sold on amazon and ebay but probably have to do your own retainers to hold them in place. As stated window screen would probably work fine from a hardware store, Lowes, Home Depot etc.

I used an accessory from Geno's Garage, an A/C condenser/intercooler guard. Check out page 8 in their latest catalog 104 spring of 2019. I have had mine on my truck for nearly 10 years with great results.

Yep, as already said, window screen. I used aluminum screen, cut it a bit big, folded the four edges over 2”, then used aluminum tie wire to secure it. I’ve done this on every truck I’ve owned. I keep a roll of it in the garage. Comes in handy for other things, like mouse stoppers. Just shove pieces of it in hole etc. and the little buggers can’t chew through it.

I use the Genos guards for big bugs and me when standing on the bumper to service truck and black fiberglass window screen for smaller bugs. No problemo for bugs.

I also installed the Genos front grill quick disconnect kit too. I'm a silent (not so much) partner in Genos with all the "stuff" I buy from them for every truck.:D

Cheers, Ron
