I would not use SeaFoam in a Cummins Ram truck... I use Opti-Lube in mine. In the past, I've used Power Service and Lucas as well. I expect this will be lively like the oil threads... ready, set, ....

I’ll use seafoam on a gas motor but I won’t use it on my diesels. It contains alcohol and that’s not recommended for diesel systems.

I got lit up in a thread for my homebrew that would've been fine in anything without a common rail system, the consensus was no additives needed, but Cummins endorses Power Service. My truck has been down for a while now...... and I use hotshots everyday in the tank to keep the moisture out while its sitting. Hot shots was on sale at the corner store, otherwise I use Power service during winter.

Power Service is at every truck stop.

1). Silver container P/S
2). Clear Diesel product

— Both to directions or more (treat rate).

Add to tank before filling. “Best” is when tank lowest (1/4).
No need to fast fill,

A typical pickup from this era — commuter-duty — will notice the change.

“Best” again would be to hook a heavy trailer and run several hundred miles.

Combo is like rocket fuel. Funny as hell.

Diesel Kleen seems to improve my trucks, smooths up the idle. But I only use it occasionally. Its easy to find at Walmart so I use it, they also have a good price on Diesel Treat. One time the 2003 gelled up in Kansas really bad, had to warm the whole truck in a dealership shop. It was well treated with PS white and had a red bottle in the main. The dealer recommended trying Howes and we didn't gel up anymore. Been using Howes Diesel Treat for anti-gel ever since, if it ain't broke....

I run the Diesel Kleen at the "maximum recommended" rate of additive because the truck only gets 5k miles ish a year and it holds 100 gallons.
I also try NOT to fuel up in the winter, so it's typically not winter blend.

No winter blend around here, what is that for you? Around the SE I'm seeing more Bio Diesel stickers on the pumps. Walmart says it can contain up to 20% Bio I think. I know it gels easier in my Kubota L series. I was filling the tank with off-road, but those pumps are not common around here now. The local off road pump a few miles away is higher than regular diesel at Walmart, so I never bother with it. I miss the old red higher sulfur cheap diesel though!

When I was running out west on vacation I saw pumps saying it was treated with anti-gel. Around here you sometimes see No. 1 pumps next to the No. 2 pump islands, usually at the commercial oil company places with the fuel cards. I was filling up at one of the commercial places for a while, but I moved too far away. There are very few Kero pumps around here too, its very rare. I have to go over 25 miles to find No. 1 at a rural convenience store and I'm out in the sticks.

I dont really know what it's treated to in the winter. I'd assume to 0 degrees F, but it's been many years since I saw a delivery cert.
We actually have red fuel pumps here, quite unusual for NJ. (-30% $ off on road prices...approx)
A Tractor supply is being built 3 miles from me too!

I’ve used it exclusively in my 05. I am at 415,000 on the original lift pump, CP3 and injectors. I have just recently replaced the lift pump and was surprised she ran due to buildup on pickup screen. I am presently working on injectors and will determine CP3 health by possible debris at edge filters. So from what I am learning as of recent, this mileage on injectors is pretty rare considering all factory filtering.
