I am replacing my head gasket on my 95 and was wondering what kind of sealant is the orange stuff on the threads on some of the bolts I removed? Ex the intake manifold bolts, and the temperature sending unit.

Also do any of the head bolts need sealed on do the go in dry?

None of the head bolt holes go into water, so sealant is not needed. Your local parts store should have some moly lube that works best to torque down head bolts. Worse case, lay bolts on a rag and apply some clean oil to threads and bottom side of flange at the head of the bolt. Allow a little time for some of the oil to drip off the bolts.

orange is probably high heat silicone. cant really hurt the bolts, and will act as an anti-vibration device. wont help with a re-torque of the bolts after a few heat cycles though.
