There's only one thing that could be causing that... .

Remember you were the on who stated on 12/22/03 "Making claims you can't prove is simply false advertising. " On 1/9/04 You stated "Or make claims that have yet to be proven" On 1/9. 04 You stated "But I want proof of this so called HP increase. I don't need an explaination on how the product works. You don't need an explaination on how the product works to understand HP claims. Like I said, it would have been better to sell the product based on its reliability and function. If that were the case then this thread wouldn't even exist" On 1/9/04 You stated "I'd just like to see come concrete, indisputable numbers ... . "

Now Dkevdog If you require concrete indisputable numbers about the Fass product then I will ask the same of you about all other products that you talk about here. Not from the manufacture but from real people. It is funny that what every you say is the truth, but someone else talks about their experince then you question it.

Now when I stated that I FELT more power with the FASS installed on my truck you wanted HARD numbers. Now I want hard numbers on your truck SMELLING different and HARD numbers on teflon tape leaking and the product Leak loc not leaking.

I think you might want to get you a pair of flip flops.

Murle, I did say all of those things. Boy, you're pretty sharp and attentive, I like that.

Let me say this- and then lets try to stay on subject here. The FASS/Preporator thing has bean beaten to death, and I for one am done with it.

I asked for numbers that, at the time had not been provided on the FASS and preporator. Maybe you'll want to quote me further down in that now infamous thread where I thanked the members for providing those numbers through testing. Claims were made on HP. They have now been shown, thanks to members who have taken the time to provide the testing. And I CLEARLY stated that based on our testing, the Preporator changed the torque/hp curve, but did not add any additional HP. That is all I ever set out to find. Your argument is pointless and has no merit. HP and Teflon tape are about as different as you and I are.

Furthermore, If you kindly read back a few posts in this very thread, allow me to quote myself:
I too have used Teflon tape on fittings, but I wanted a better seal on this system since they were larger lines than the 1/8" I had used Teflon on in the past. Diesel will not dissolve Teflon tape, I'm not saying Teflon won't work, I'm just saying there are better sealants out there.

I have used Teflon tape and did not have a problem. So, your experience is duly noted and appreciated. Others have used it as well, their experience has been different, and that is also appreciated. That is what makes this site and the information posted so valuable.

Murle try and relax a bit, eh? I'm just still laughing at the fact that you could turn a thread about sealants into a#@$%! :-{} pi**ing match. :-laf :-laf

Just remember we're all in this together. ;)

You're not gonna refer to me as a "Jerry Springer Wannbe" are ya?:-laf I could use a good laugh...

Dkevdog, I guess you don't get the point... . If you say there are better sealants out there..... Show me the numbers... . I am only quoting you.

You would not believe me or other people who stated that they could FEEL the difference in the power of their trucks when they installed the FASS.

I only asking you for the same proof that Leak lock is better than tefon tape. You say it is better..... Show me the numbers... ... Flip Flop.

I used teflon tape on all my fuel pressure gauge fittings and ran the hose into the cab. It didn't leak but more a weep. I just replaced all the tape with Gasoila thread sealent. To each his own. I have used the gasoila in the past in a diesel environment and never had a problem. Glad to know that if gasoila ever becomes unavailable,I can get the stuff Kevin used cause tape didn't work for me. Bottom line is use what works for you.
