Search issues with an I-pad.....

Steve,

When viewing the site with an I-pad I can no longer use the drop down menu at the top the screen to search new posts.

That feature has been working perfectly up until last week.

I did get it to work on Saturday but only once, after that no go. I have to use the link down in the LH corner of the Home Page to search currently.

iPhones and iPads suffer from this issue. My fix is to use these links and bookmark them:

I haven't looked at the javascript that is used to make the menus visible/hidden, but normally a timer would be set to better control the behavior.

Same problem with my i-pad. It started after a up date to the pad, I turn off my wireless to select new post then turn it back on. grrrrrrrrrrrr

I just picked up an Ipad for testing so I'll play around with it on mine. I viewed new posts on it the other day but I haven't done an update on it. I'll have to find where updates are done and give it a shot.

I am running the newest Apple update in it, maybe that is the issue. I believe it is OS 5. 1.

I updated my iPad and was able to replicate the problem. I could however get it to work, it was just very difficult. The problem is the new safari browser is working so fast that it moves you to the next page before it allows you to click on another link. I've changed the menu now so that it should work. Now to get to the forum on. Regular PC you just point at the discussion forums menu item and then you need to click on main forum directory just below it.
