Searching pre-2001 posts

I thought we were able to search old threads but haven't been able to figure out how to do it. Does the search engine still do pre 2001 threads? I am looking for Ted Jannetty's thread "Proper order to BOMBing your ISB. " Probably posted in 1999 or 2000. I found a thread from 2001 that links to it, but the link doesn't work.

This the one your looking for? https://www.turbodieselregister.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9797 . It's in the 24v FAQ forum, btw. Yes you can search all the way back to 1999. After a certain point all the posts will be under the username "Archive" because of a problem that was created when those old posts were archived and that was the only way I could bring them back online.



I did find a bug in the search engine from this post though. A search when you tell it to search entire posts (the default) does not search the title - only in the subject. It should search the title as well. I found it by doing a search on "+proper +order +upgrading" on titles only and it came right up. I'll work on the search bug when I get a chance.
