I saw a 1. 5HP air compressor at Sears the other day on sale for under $100. 00. I think the part number was 15210 ??

Does anyone own one of these? It only has a small (about 2 gallon) tank, but it seems like it would be ideal on the truck for inflating tires, and the air horn I'd like to install.

I have a 15 gallon tank I can install for some reserve anyway.

Any info appreciated.

Eric

Oh BTW, I have a 2000 watt inverter, so I think it should handle it.

Patriot, I got all excited about that little compressor a year or so ago when our local store started carrying it. I didn't have a converter then so that was an additional expense, kinda killed the deal for me. Obviously not a issue for you.

The only down side I came up with (besides the inverter) was where to mount the compressor. I came down to under the hood, requiring relocating the batteries, or in the bed in a weather proof cabinet.

If you do this, let us know how it works out.

Good luck, Ronnie

Eric, www.harborfreight.com has one for $80, free shipping. I'll bet it's exactly the same as the Sears with a different name on it. Check out item # 47407-OTHA

Sorry it doesn't come up in a search but is in a recent flyer. item# 47413-1VGA is the same price and specs but looks different

No Bill, that one looks different. The local Target has one that looks like that one. Same price.

I bought the one from Sears. The wife had a coupon, so I payed something like $80. 00 + tax.

I already BOMBED it. It will go to 140 PSI w/o much a problem.

It was cheap enough.
