Anybody with an "easy" way to attach the rear seat back covers? Just bought a set of Seat Savers from Genos, the fronts and rear seats install easily and fit just fine but I can not get my mitts in to attach the seat back covers on the rear seat! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

which truck do you have? fill in you signature. If its the 3rd gen quad cab, i had to fold the seat up 3/4 and this gives a little room to bush the straps down from the top to under the seat. Very tight fit, my skinny hands barley fit.

If you have a second-gen, that rear backrest will also come away from the back of the cab a bit if you lift the seat. If that's not far enough, you can lock the seat lifted, then there are just two bolts on each side on the floor holding it in place. Remove those and lift the seat straight up to extract from rear brackets, and you are free to do as you feel with that seat. :)

231JasonS, Rhondasway, Thanks for the feedback. It is a Third Generation which means, I'll have to get out the dictionary and learn a few new bad words!

whats wrong with covering the leather. I had a set of covers on my rear seat in my 04 and when i sold it they looked and felt like new. (cover for the kids/dog seat).

I paid good money for my leather and I intend to use them and wear them out if need be. I will not preserve them for the next owner to enjoy them or to sent my truck to the junk yard with brand new seats. If the kids dirty them, wash them. It's leather.

if it was only that easy..... i fully enjoy my seats without covers, but those back seats would be trashed after a few vacations.

resale value is something to consider if you dont keep your truck forever. ive never owned a vehicle longer than five years, most for less than two years, I get tired of them and need somthing new.

You do your thing, and they'll do theirs.

I've been told to leave you alone, so not another word from me. Cover your seats all you want.
