Not hard, but if you want them to fit nice and tight you will need to work on them for a bit. They have cinch straps with plastic connectors that must be slipped (forced down through) the crack in the seat. Then you have to locate it and connect it up under the seat cushion or behind the seat backs at the gap on the bottom. This is where cinching down a little at a time becomes important if you want the tight, best fit. It just takes some practice and you'll have it down. I say 15 minutes to install, less than 5 to remove. They are machine washable and dry-able.
