Hi Everyone,

Okay, I just did a search of the entire topic and only found 1 thread on seat covers. It was the ones from Mopar.

I have a 4 door 2500 cummins diesel and need to add front and rear seat covers to protect the seats from my fuzzy friend (dog).

Can the people who have mopar covers (front or rear) describe the type of material they have on them and the comfort level.

Also the same question for anyone who has a non mopar seat cover. Can you inform me also of the brand, price (if you remember), phone # or website and their durability... .

thanks,

Tomcat

03 Cummins 2500, AT 47RE, all the bells & whistles. .

boy are these trucks COOL!

GENOS

I have set I got from another member who was selling his truck.

They fit good, look good, go on and off easy and are washable.

Oh, and they match my interior really well.

Just caught you have 03. Don't know if they have them.

I have a set of Wet Okole covers. They are absolutely outstanding, and their customer service is second-to-none. Highly recommended. The 2 things people compliment me most on my truck are the bed liner and the seats.

Hey Tomcat,

I've got a Cabela's catalog you can have. They've got a lot of choices. I'm thinking about getting the Wet Okole's too, but haven't actually touched them yet to decide. First I need to spray some anti-static on the cloth seats though. Everytime I slide out of the seat I get zapped by static either on my arm touching the door or my calf touching the side step. Hopefully covers will help that.

Seat Covers

Hi. I just got the "SeatSaver's by Covercraft" from Geno's Garage. They are a Chino material which, is a little like a Levi type material. They call it a "heavy-duty, polycotton drill weave fabric", "breathable fabric stays cooler, won't "glue" to you or the seats". You can "clean in washer/dryer, no special care needed". I like them. I live in Phoenix, Az. and like seat covers that breathe. Not like sitting on plastic. These seem to do that, quite well. I would buy them, again. I have an '03, 3500, Quad Cab with the Taupe interior. The closest they had was the Grey color. It's not bad. Not perfect match but, close enough. They fit quite snug. You have to work a little at getting them on but, they don't slip around like the Saddleman (horse blanket) type that I have in my '91 W-250. The front 40/20/40/ covers were $99. 00 and the rear 60/40's were $79. 00. Hope this helps. Joe Fihn(Buffalo)

Seat Covers

Hi, again. I don't know if those Okole's "breathe" or not. Also, check to see if they will "shock" you from static electricity, or not. I'm not trying to "knock" the Okole's. Frankly, I don't know anything about them and have never seen them. They say they are made from "neoprene". I don't know if that material creates static electricity, or not. You might want to check it out. One of the other guy's answering this thread mentioned that He was getting shocked each time He got out of his truck. I had the same experience with my "stock" seat material. I didn't even realize it until He mentioned it but, I'm not getting shocked anymore, with these new seat covers. Boy, I like these more than I thought, I did! Again, make sure the Okole's breathe. Usually, non-synthetic materials, like cotton, "will" breathe and won't be nearly as hot, in the summer. Hope this helps. Joe Fihn(Buffalo).

Take a look at these seat covers from Coverline!

I had their Custom Fit covers on my old truck and really liked them... nice tight fit and could hardly tell they were covers! I haven't called them to see if they are producing them for the '03 yet but can't imagine why they wouldn't be!

The Okole's are nylon-backed neoprene. They don't cause any static problems. Not sure about their breathability.
