What is a good seat cover? I really need them for the back as I transport my dogs back there sometimes. The front I may not use. 3500 quadcab 01. Thanks!
Not sure about the best, but we went with the MOPAR ones. They appear to be made by Covercraft. Even have a Ram on the front ones. Quick install. . Washable and seem pretty tough. Some kind of
heavy poplin?.
Believe that Geno's has them now.
We have leather seats and the dog was starting to wear on them.
Best seat cover is Wet Okole (for people). Wet Okole's are made from that wetsuit material; probably not the best for dogs if they like to 'dig' up a bedding area to lay down.
I have the Mopar as well, with the ram heads. They install easy, fit well, look pretty good, and stay put. I have 2 dogs and they haven't been able to mark them up. You get covers for all seat parts with the Mopar set, including the center console.
Can you still open the center console with the seat cover on? How does that part of it work? I'm in Earth work and am tired of shampooing the dirt out of my cloth seats, but need the use of my center console. Okole seems to have the right Idea, but never really cared for the looks of them. I'm curious.
I got the seat cover at Dodge dealer for about 210. 00 They went on easy and fit good. I didn't get anything for the center console part that flips up is there a piece for it? Just the center fo the bench part you sit on. Worth the money. Easy to remove and wash.
diesel Dog, Wet Okoles are good especially if you're wet and sitting in your truck, I think it's called neoprene, Mark was right it's the wet suit material. By the way Okole is the Hawaiian word for our rear ends, (butts, rears, posteriors, tooshes) hence the name "Wet Okoles".
the dodge dealer sold seat covers are fantastic! does anyone know for sure if covercraft makes them, would like to know in case dodge stops carrying them. john skalet
