I'm not familiar with the ones from Geno's, but I bought a set through Cabela's that are a slip on type and work really well. I pour concrete and wanted to keep the crap on my seats to a minimum and these are best I found for about $25 a piece. When you don't need them they come off easy and roll up. I keep the driver's side one on almost all the time, and it has had oil, grease, concrete, asphalt oil, and foundation waterproofing material on it and nothing got past it. I've had these for about three years, some of the best money I've spent. FWIW.
Bought my seat covers for my 01. 5 about one year ago from Genos. They are made from a heavy chino material. I work outdoors and really get them dirty. I have never seen any better, and I have been driving forty years. You cant go wrong with Genos products.
I have had the Geno's seat covers front and back for over three years and they are great. When they get dirty the can be removed and washed. The fit is the best I have ever had. Oo.
Also had the Geno's seat covers. Other than the back being a little tricky to get on sometimes (I have big hands ), I love them. with two big dogs and two sloppy kids, they're a must .
