You may want to try a local automotive upholstery shop. They may have better-than-stock foam & be able to custom-design the seat to fit you better.

I talked to a couple of shops, in my area, and it didn't seem to be a problem for any of them.

Yeah, i guess i'll have to do that. I have a typical wore on the edge of the cushion seat. Didnt know if I could buy factory replacement. Thanks for the advice

Out of curiosity ??? When did you realize that the seat was giving you problems. It seems that only now are most people having problems. How do I ask this ??? how heavy are some of you,I was 210 lbs at the time. Mine was caved in within the 60,000 km's. I had mine rebuilt and within a year it was saged out again they said I would have to get a new seat and they would rebuild it from new. What $1400. 00 for a new seat and then they do how many dollars work on it so it lasts HOW LONG AND WHAT KIND OF WARRANTY??? I just should have kept the 93.

Most of my trucks have been used when i purchased them and were already wore. I weigh around 220lbs. and i notice it quite a bit, plus it wears the material out on the edge of the seat.

Hell My phat arse crushed mine in the first 60 Minutes :-laf

There are several fixes for this that I am looking into. One of which is the carpet trick that is on the forum somewhere. I have heard of keeping the foam adding some jute carpet pad or adding poly stuff to a hunk of well cut memory foam under leather seat skinz. I dunno but I am on board with ya as I gotta do this if I am driving out to indy tis year.
