Seat Install 2006 to 2001 ????

Will a set of 40 20 40 front buckets and console from an 06 2500 quad fit in an 01 2500 quad,? individual seats to each side or whole assy. Trucks are too far apart or i would just measure a little.

I don't see why they would not fit. I did just the opposite from what you are wanting to do. I bought a set of front buckets from a wrecked truck (1999) . I pulled my original seats out of my 2005 and took my time installing them. It took me about a month but they fit. You will more than likely have to do some mods as the 2001 seat tracks on the bottom are totally different. I had alot of metal to cut off the bottom of the '99 seats. There isn't much on the bottom of these newer seats as you will have to fab up some plates to make them work. I wish you good luck!!

I don't see how they will work. The 2nd gen quad cab had seat belts in them, third gens had them mounted in the pillar.

cut them off

I pulled them out as far as I could and cut them off and just let them fall back into where they went
