seat make noises !!!

ok this is VERY annoying and happens every once and a while since the day i got my truck. Sometimes my driver seat makes creaking/ rattling noises whenever i hit a bump and go to hit the brake or even accelerate!!! i try to move the position the seat is in with my electronic controls and nothing helps. Im guessing this noise is coming from the base where the seat in attached to the floor. Anyone know how to fix this??it is driving my insane!:-{} #@$%!

I've felt it, but I aint heard it. It seems to be coming from the right side of the seat ... ... ... ... like there is some slop there.



Feels like the right side of the seat goes back and forth on acceleration and braking.



Could simply be a loose bolt, we'll see.

My seat makes a clicking noise on the left side. I can't figure out where it's coming from to save my life. Seat is not loose. It's more like a click than a squeak or rattle..... hard to explain.

My 03 made a similar movement sometimes. So far the 04 has not done it. The only sounds it makes is when I fart Which happens to be every day. :-{}

mine does(did) the same thing only "rocked back" a little when taking off from a light... I moved the back part of the bottom of the seat down just a tad(which turned out to be more cummfy!) with the switch and it doesnt do it anymore... just a thought

I have the same noise, very annoying. It sounds like it is comeing from the door panel to me.

I'm thinkin it is probably backlash in the adjuster screw.



I just looked at mine and the screw is on the right side, in my original response I noted that it seemed to be coming from the right side.



I imagine it would have to be pretty darn sloppy to get DC to replace it.

mine does it also, something is definately loose and getting looser. it will have to get worse, dealer say dc will not warranty as is right now. very annoying.
