Can the seat warmers in the Geno's Garage catalog be used with cloth seats?

Installed mine about 2 months ago under the cloth seats and they work great. As far as installing in the Mega Cab, I would think it's possible. Just need longer wiring harnesses and a place to put the switches.

I've had mine for quite some time under my cloth seats. They work well, but take awhile to warm up. Later I learned I should've installed them with the black pad facing DOWN instead of up.

How about on the back seat of a Mega Cab? I've been thinking of this for awhile.

That's exactly what I was thinking of doing. I was thinking of installing the switches in the floor vent panel, or the in the reclining seat handles.

FWIW, the wires for the switch assemblies are only about 12" long. You will need to add onto/lengthen these wires the further away you mount the switch from the control module that gets installed under the seat.

How big is the control module that goes under the seat? The rear seat on the mega cab folds forward and to the floor. Would it still fit under there?

TEaton,

The control module is a small black box approx. 3" x 4" x 1 1/2" deep which can be zip-tied to the bottom of the seat cushion. If the rear seat is open underneath, the module should fit. You can view/download the installation instructions for the seat heaters at rostra.com.
