I'm pushing 250k of seat time in the driver's seat right now... I already rebuilt it once, but its dead again. What are my options? I'm not interested in an air-ride seat, but just a quality replacement... not really concerned if it matches the other seat as long as its comfortable.

I've been looking at the higher end seats sold by Summit Racing (driver's seat runs about $500), not sure if that's the answer or not.

Any other options? I need something because its starting to affect my back on long drives.

I know you said you aren't interested in air ride, but let me say that I just love mine. I'd go with the HD's instead of the Light Duty seats, but that's all.

It's like riding on a cushion of air..... really, it is. :-laf

I am in the same boat regarding my seat, but this would be the first re-build for me. I am just shy of 80K and anticipate this will be a reoccurring issue. How do the air ride seats hold up? How long can I expect it to last? Also, where do you recommend purchasing them from? Thanks in advance.

Mine is a Sportster HD by National I have about 35k on it looks just like new the thing is these seats are made for big rigs with lots of seat time. Do a search on air-ride my post will come up with install pics and updates. Not sure how to mount it to the stock base but that maybe an option for someone not wanting air-ride but I gota tell you when your on that rough section of road and your just floating along you will know why you went Air-rideOo.
