Tailgate dents from dropping too hard?

I have an '07 Quad dually work/personal truck with 65,000 miles on it with a hole worn in the passenger seat. I am a welder and carry a helper on 95% of the assignments I'm on. He's only about 25 lbs heavier than me, so I don't think that would count. You can definitely see some metal thru the hole, so the padding is not in place to prevent something like this. I bought an extended warranty when I bought the truck. Would the extra warranty cover something like this? I had a '99 that had 160,000 on it when I traded, and it didn't have any holes in it. Just sagging on the drivers side.

Not sure what your Warranty covers but "most" extended plans cover only major stuff. Things like radios and interiors would be excluded.

That being said, I would check with who ever you got the warranty from for a definite answer.

Can anyone advise on where to buy a factory replacement seat bottom cover? I have found a few on ebay. The local dealers here want $275 just for the fabric cover for one seat and $180 for the foam. I think I could stuff some foam in the hole and put an iron on patch on it to seal it up. Any ideas?
