Seats......Numb from the Waist Down

I have a 03 with the Laramie Package and the Leather seats. I use my truck for some long distance hauling of my Power Wagons. I have over 10,000 miles towing and the seats are terrible. My back is still killing me after a 3 day 2800 mile run. That thing the Germans call a center seat is useless. Not safe to put a child up front, where is a adult going to put there legs with the 6 speed shifter and floor console ???? I would expect for the cost of the premium leather seats that I would get a comfortable bucket seat.



My friend has a new Ford F-250 with real bucket seats, its really comfortable.



I am hoping that the Germans start to realize they need to supply good seats in the Rams, seats that can carry your butt for many many comfortable miles.



If these seats did not suck, they would fall out of the truck. They are not much better than a picnic bench. Other than the seats, I love my Ram/CTD, its a great hauler.

SRT 10 Seats

I was at a recent truck show in PA and had a chance to sit in an SRT-10 truck. Those seat are not even available through the dealer yet i have tried. been looking for a wreck that will be one of my mods first problem is finding them...

any fotos of the air ride set up?

would definitely be worth the effort

i just finished putting in my leather seats and i must say they are loads more comfortable than my premium cloth ones. i have pics if you guys want to see the difference.

Me too... . my seats are the pits. My rear end is smack down on the frame. Gotta get it fixed.

I have never had back problems from driving,I could drive from Michigan to Florida and not think twice about it,but since I got this 2004,I do nothing but hurt when I drive it,we have been driving the wifes F150 because the seats in this Dodge are the worst I have seen.

My 2000 seats were great,I had no trouble with them or my 99 Superduty,I have priced out seats and was going to upgrade to premium seats from Dodge since mine is a ST model,but they want $1500 for just the drivers seat,I hope there is something out there that will fit in these trucks to help.

I agree, these trucks, although equiped with 6 seat belts are really 5 passenger vehicles. I used to put 6 in my '98 but that was an automatic 2WD, and didn't have the cup holders on the floor.
