Thanks, TDR Staff

Competition Was on the dyno this morning...

Competition Today was a great day...

David just got a phone call from Dave Dunbar and the Georgia boys are coming loaded for ol Jeff Prince and Joe Hellman so we should definitely have a Texas style race.

I am jealous. PLEASE, someone keep us informed by updating the web. I will be sitting in cold old colorado wishing I was down theere at least watching.

Good luck to all.

Hoss is broke down by Ashland Oregon. . they are using the hook to tow him back to Grants Pass area ... . it's his trailer springs that are FUBARed

Oh wow Gary, thanks for the updates. Just sounds like that truck is not ment to make it to Houston. This is bad news. Will he still try to make it?

Jeff's leaving tonight with the race truck. He's driving the Peterbuilt. Matt and Darrin are leaving in the morning. They're pulling Matt's 40 footer with both trucks. David's supposed to be leaving Ky and I'm leaving in the morning. I'm going to try to go to the cookout at Diesel Inovations saturday. I gotta find the track first.

See ya'll at the races.

. . Preston... ... ..... Oh, I'll be driving the black 3500 with a wind deflector on top with the air horns. A black bumper I made with a tag on front that says" Dodge makes it, Garmon diesel shakes it". Coffee's on me.

You'll probably drive right by the track on the way to DI.

Here's a shortcut I take when I'm heading west on I-10

Just after you come over the "Trinity River" bridge, the first exit past the bridge is the Cove Exit. It will also have Hwy 565 on it.

Take that exit, turn left at the stop sign.

You'll go through one intersection with a stop sign(hwy 3180). Keep straight and the track will be on your right. You can't miss it.

Here's a map for ya.

Thanks David and Amanda, every one in the diesel world should stand up and give you a hand, the prerace party was tops, Mats almost 500 foot burn out was worth the trip, the event was great, with almost every one there. I can’t wait for next year. I wished I could have run better, but when you throw as much new stuff as we have at our little truck, sometimes things don’t work out as expected. Just glad the truck is still in one piece. I had flash backs of my old Pro Mod days, looking out the windshield at the stands and collecting the 1/8th mile trap cones in the process. Next year every one should wear name tags so we want forget to talk to any one , leaving them left out CC12V I have a offer on the table to race comp next year , but really want to stick this diesel deal out and put this little truck in the 7’s . I’m sure a few others wished I was not in their way to a record

Just think Greg, if you were runnin 700 HP instead of the 460 on diesel, you would already be in the 7's. :{ That truck has a ton of potiental. Jeff said you were 1700 lbs lighter than him. Is that so? If that is true, at your weight, with his power on diesel, and spraying, oh my. Who's going to drive it? :)

Sure would like to see that truck over in the shop for a little while. And a dyno is next to the shop also. Why not just drive over. It's only 800 miles from there. ;)

It was good to meet you and your driver. :D I had a very nice visit. Hope to see you at a race next year.

. . Preston. .
