2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Second Gen 3500 Leaf Spring Count

Help!!



I just removed my utility bed that came with the truck when I bought it used. Whoever added the utility bed, added leaf springs to the main pack. The reason I amposting this post, is that now with the standard bed on the truck, it rides like a tank.



I need someone to take a snapshot of there stock second gen Dually 3500 springs. I need to figure which ones were added to the main leaf.



Could someone help me out PLEASE!!!!!

If I remember correctly, there are just three, maybe four leafs.



What kind of shocks are you running?

My 3500 has four on the bottom then a spacer with two short overload springs on top.

I had problems with my digital camera last night and couldn't get the pictures but my truck has the same spring setup as RBunson.

Used the information to figures the count out, the previous owner added two leafs into the leaf pack. One into the actual pack between the leaf pack, an done under the main leaf pack between the helper spring and the main leaf pack.
