says timing and pulse only,,no mention of pressure.

does this mean it can be stacked with a rail presure box?

i just got off the phone with a partial owner of TST

really nice guy, we chatted for 25 minutes or so,

and YES,YES, YES... It can be stacked with an EZ, BUT he said the EGT is not even close to tolerable, and cummins recommended against it,

BUT it will run and drive with stupid power amounts

So is the answer that the CR does _not_ increase rail pressure? Been wondering on that myself. Anyone know for sure?

NO -- no pressure increase, that is from the horses mouth...

AND BTW, mine is aready on order, I am in the second batch... january . . 1st-2nd week... and free shipping

I got the guaged one, with power backdown at the adjustable EGT temp...

for 125 bucks, I will have double gauges, you know?

For those of you getting the guages with the Powermaxcr, do you have any mounting locations in mind?

The TST guys said they simply have it velcro'd to the top of the dash. I was looking for more of a finished look.

Wow, that's some sick power. +500 ft/lbs at the rear wheels? :--)

Cummins 600 blah, I'll have a Cummins 1000 :--) :--) :--)

I'm having a hard time fighting the urge to order one of those puppies but wanted to wait and see what Edge came out with.

Do either of these offer a built in turbo timer? It would be a natural with the built in pyro and real nice perk.

I was going to wait too, but they have a 30 day money back policy... SOOO... If edge comes out with something I really want within the time frame... return is possible

do you think a group buy in first quarter of 04 would yield us any savings?

i dont have my truck yet, but it sure looks like the TST is inline for first bomb priority. along with air filter, exhaust and gages.

to the best of my knowledge (which is terrible in the first place). . the edge box was the only one teasing us with stackablity... not TST, heck they didn't even have a pressure box did they ??

and By they way, CUMMINS recommended against , not TST, TST said the EGT is not even close to controlable,

BUT, you slap on some twins + injectors and now it gets interesting:

280 WHP stock + 150 (tst) + 80 (lvl6 EZ) + 80? (injector) = 590 rear wheel HP

490 RWTrq stock + 500 (tst) + 200 (lvl6 EZ) + 100? (injctr) = 1290 Rear wheel torque

stop me before I get max all my credit cards

Anyone know more info on this box, like:

1) So this thing is adjustable on the fly, right?

2) The previous models had two different remotes, one looks like it has adjustable cut off settings on the fly and the other doesn't, is that right? Does the new model offer the adjustable cut off temp adjustment on the fly? It looks like they are only showing the remote without that.

3) Does it have an "off" option for stock settings (and leaves the gauges active)?

4) On it's lowest setting, can we expect a mpg gain perhaps?

New TST BOX

  Will our trucks in stock trim be able to actually be able to handle an extra 500 RWHP without twisting the rears right out of the trucks???????? Will our 48RE's be able to withstand another 150HP without imploding?????? Somebody say it ain't so!!!!!!!!! "Cause if it ain't soooooo... ... ... I'll order my box as soon as possuble:D :D :D :D

If they didn't have so little info of what it actually does on the website mine would be ordered by now. Guess it's time to call them tomorrow.

Incase anyone does know. How is it hooked up? Does it tap any wires?

What are the diff. power settings?

What is recommened to keep the auto alive.

Are the guages required to use the EGT shutdown thingy?

If that last question is a YES, then I will be getting the guaged one and just move my current EGT probe into the Elbow for a Post turbo reading. Besides I won't need to monitor the EGT's pre turbo if it will keep the EGT's at a safe level.

Edit*

Looked at the ordering page for the unit and it only mentions the egt cutback on teh guaged version so my last ? is answered. Also notice that it says there are 10 HP and 10 TQ settings to choose from.

Box has 10 levels-0 being stock and power increases as numbers go higher. It does not tap any wires-I believe its plug in to existing harnesses and then you plug in stock to back of plug. You will need to upgrade transmission or be very carefull. Too many full power runs or towing will slip clutch or torck clutches/TC in auto. You need to get their upgraded box with digotal readouts to be able to program temp limits on oil temp or egt's. Mines ordered. :D :D :D :D :D Oo.

the guy I talked at TST to said his test truck held 800 ft-lbs torq on the stock 6-spd... but them slipped and it was toast at 850+... but he told me my 5-spd wouldn't hold more than MAYBE setting 5...

no word on auto, setting are as the durmax's, 0-9 i believe.

and our AAM rear axles are good to go for that power so I hear, the tire will loose grip i think first...

lastly the EGT shutdown will require the more expensive "built in gauge" Box, BUT that is agood idea!, I will move my EGT gauge to the post-position, and the boost will stay, and I will have two boost gauges, it will be interesting to see how accurate the mechanical one is

he also said the torque setting would dictate the low boost fuel, as low as 1200 RPMS, but that seems a little low, and people with injectors will need a specialy programed one so you could go below stock fueling to make no smoke if you wanted

but he said he bets I will not want any injector after I get my box

:D thats how good it is... only time will tell
