Secondary Filter and Booster Question

I have a question: Is it possible (arguably it makes a lot of sense) to place an inline filter by the tank attached to the frame rail and is it possible to place a booster fuel pump in line? Details on my truck is, a early 1991.5 non-ic W250, completely stock.

I don't see no reason why you couldn't. I have 326k on my 91.5 D-250 (non I/C is 91) with one lift pump replacement. They seem to work just fine as is.

I use "booster" fuel pump as a generic nomenclature in lieu of electric pump
