Yes I am on my second DTT. But I have 2 trucks. OK I had to say that to get the everyones attention. Now I have DTT trans in both. I went all the way to Bills this time. The whole staff was so nice. I felt like I was family. I got to watched them build the trans for my truck. I have seen many trans built before and used to build 350-400 Chevy trans myself. I was still amazed at the care they put in mine. Allot of attention to detail. I also had then fine tune my vb in my other truck. It works even better now. All said and done I am very happy with all my DTT parts and the service I received there. And would do it all again.

congradulations on your 2nd dtt transmission.

I just love mine. Do you have a calif. truck? My smart controller leaves my check engine light on all the time. Just wondering if there is any way around that aside from disconnecting the controller.

Both my trucks are CA. I haven't put the smart controler on the 97 yet. I will probly do it today. My 01 light is fine. I think I would take the bulb out if it is a problem.

SEmerson, Nice to hear you got your second DTT on your other truck. I noticed you posted you were headed up after I got mine on April 12th. You know this was one of the few times I've spent money on something and am totally happy with. I put an edge EZ on awhile back and I really didn't notice much since it wasn't putting the power to the wheels, now the truck accelerates hard thru the gears and it's alot more fun to drive. I feel like I'm 18 again and telling my wife every night that I'm going to take my truck for a quick cruise around town.

GFrance-on the 01 the controller will set a check engine light as the computer senses a ground that should not be there. when lockup is applied in any other gear but 4th. Also if lockup is held when it normally would not in 4th.
