I cannot seem to come up with the proper size for the bolt (hex key) on the pully for my 1994 Cummins! Its larger then 1/4, smaller then 5/16 & between 6mm & 7MM WHAT THE HECK!!! Some sort of $200 dodge special tool or something!!!?!??!?!?!

Ugh, the truck is screaming at me, I don't dare drive it and nothing seems to fit. Anybody have a suggestion? I can't just take the entire thing off with out losing all the coolant and what not.

Thanks for any help anybody has to offer.

I just used a digital camera to get at a different angle. Seems its a Torx bit!!! UGH, I've already went off base 2 times, I don't really want to do it again!

Anybody happen to know the size?

Thanks,

Corey

Thanks guys!

After messing around with it, I found out that the entire tension assembly could be removed with one bolt. Entire repair time took me 10min, and the dealership only wanted about $250 for the job, including the pully that was "intergrated" into the assembly. Its funny, I already had the replacement part, and the job only cost me $18 (parts) and about 10min!

Thanks again,

Corey
