2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Security Alarm

I have a 2001 2500 and am looking for a security system, would really like a factory plug in unit. (Is such a thing available?) Otherwise, has anyone had good experience with any praticular unit? My neighbor/friend just bought a 2004 2500 and would also like to find a simple effective security unit.
