any exercise gurus here...need advice

Has anyone used it and what were your results? At 42, I am having trouble reading the small print and do not wish to use glasses.

My vision is still fair enough to read and I saw in an article the other dat that if you eat lots of bananas with black dots on them that it will greatly improve your eyesight

Cheers, Kevin

I sent for their material and by the time I got through reading their hedgine and excuses in advance, I sent the material back to them.

Scot,

I'm in the same boat as you. I finally broke down and bought some reading glasses rated at 1. 25 or 1. 5. You can get them about anywhere, for less than 10 bucks. I only wear them when I catch myself straining to read something.

If I'm not mistaken the See Clearly Method are just some simple eye exercises that have been around for years that someone is capitalizing on by making into a video. I'll bet if you search around on the net or visit an optometrist you can find the exercises for free. Whether they work I have no idea.

illflem's view is just what I got from their material---together with a bunch of, "this will improve" your vision, but you may still need your glasses, etc.

The adds I saw for it were much more positive than the stuff that came.

Way back when I was about half the age I am now my eye doctor told me to do eye exercises. To hold my thumb up, focus on it then focus on the far wall. This was to strengthen the muscles that focus the eye. I don't think I ever did it. You know how a smart alec in his thirties thinks.

Well thirty some years later I was sitting outside my camper reading a western novel. I looked over on the far side hill and every thing was a blur. I stared at that side hill untill it came into sharp focus, but when I looked back at the book, it was a blur. So I stared at it untill I could read a paragraph then looked at the side hill blur again, and stared at it untill it was sharp. Now I didn't have to keep this up too long untill I could look back and forth and the book and side hill were both sharp as soon as I looked. As a matter of fact it wasn't too long in this first session that I got so I could read 2 or 3 pages and the side hill was still sharp. That was 3 years ago and I still do a session as described every once in a while and today after wearing bi-focals for 27 years, I can read a western novel without my glasses.

And this year I passed the eye exam for my drivers license renewal without my glasses, first time in 52 years.

Hey WyoJim

Are you still on your low carb diet? I fell off for awhile but started up again and feel a hell of alot better.

Yes I am, Rich!!

Isn't it amazing how that way of eating will shape a guy up.

When I started it a couple of years ago I was in terrible shape. I began walking up a hill behind my house, and I had a helluva time, gasping for breath and having to stop and rest. Well by winter I had worked that hill down to 16 minutes non-stop at a pulse beat of around 140. I thought that was pretty good.

I stayed on the diet all winter, but couldn't walk the hill because of the weather. The first time I walked it in the spring, after just the diet and no exercise all winter I did the walk in 13 minutes with a pulse beat of 116.

I crash the diet about one day a week, but I'll be eating low carb the rest of my life.
