PS - I've scrapped 3 6. 2 Diesel Chevy blazers over the last couple years, an 84, an 86 and an 87, and all 3 were 700r4/np208 trucks, and each one of them had 3. 73 gears in the axles, so you can probably expect 3. 73, dont take that as solid fact, but thats what ive noticed.
