How to start a fight

I know of at least a few that will be happy as Pigs In I TRIED TO BY-PASS THE CUSSING FILTER about this. But I cant get any info on when my subscription is up and dont know when I will be cut from site. So with that being said I will be on as long as I am, and when the time comes HAPPY TRAILS TO ALL. For the most part its been fun.

BIG,

I have no clue if you can fix a Cummins, but I sure have enjoyed your discussions, pictures and the range of topics.

What the heck is your first name anyway?

Happy trails Mountain Man and enjoy the Grandpa game.

Gary

Any particular reason why your not renewing? I havent been on here very long, but I have certainly come to recognize your name for your opinions on life. Alot of the pics youve posted remind me alot of my moms cabin that she has up above Centennial, WY. I always look forward to viewing them as I only have the opportunity to get out that way about every other year and I miss the country dearly. I spent the better part of my childhood out there and spent every free minute I had camping, hiking, fishing, or mountain biking the snowies. I envy you guys that live out there, if I had it to do over I dont think I would have ever left. Well enough about me, hope all is well and happy trails. :)

Big, you are so full of bear poo.

I'll drive up there, pull off your peg leg and beat you with it if you EVER think about not posting on here anymore.

BIG, you're the best thing that's happened to TDR in years.

Robin, if you're reading this post, I believe you should give BIGNASTY a free subscription because he creates more interest on TDR than any other member. He tells great stories with great photos from the great state of Montana.

BIG, I believe I can speak for most members, we want you to stay on.

INDEED. I can think of some trolls I'd gladly sawp :-laf

Well, crap! Send me your address or lat/long in case I make a Montana run sometime. I could help you squeeze some eggs out of the hens, or shovel something politicians are full of. Okay, I confess, I just want the home brew.

Robin,

How about a Wounded Warrior honorable earned membership?

And TDR in general, the magazine has a lot of Cummins/Dodge how to stuff when we get the magazine, but it doesn't have one funny/bizarre/what the heck unusual thing happened in/on this post while trying to answer the OP's question.

A lot of the members have a personality that the magazine only shows their tech side.

BIG is at the top of the list of TDR characters. And the guy you want on your side when things might get nasty. Hey, is that where he got his name BIG NASTY?

So renew your subscription. Email Robin - she'll tell you when it is up for renewal. $38/year shouldn't break ya. It can be done on line. If you can't afford it maybe sell one of your guns or maybe all of us could take up a collection. Let us know what the problem is. I'll chip in.

Its not the money part of it in fact I have bugged the Wife and FIL (they take care of the money) about the upcoming MORON RACE to the white house making us have a problem they pulled out the info and were doing well and put my simple mind at rest. Were getting ready to head to the Mountains for THE BEST HOBBY I have (hunting season). And wondered if the subscription would run out while im off having fun and wouldn't be able to give HB and DD a BIG hug and FOND farewell. :-laf

I have had another set back with my SHORT LEG :-laf not that one if that happens we wouldn't be talking about it id just take a six-gun and get on Daisy and ride out and she knows her way home. The bone below the knee is not in the best of shape I have been slacking in my duty's to get things done around here because the Doc said to and more importantly the BOSS has made me. At the end of hunting season OCT. I will go in to have it fixed and see how that goes. The rehab on this could be pretty long or short depending on what needs to be done and having to learn to walk again is a real possibility. I have thought that having only my therapy to concentrate on would be a help to get it done as fast as possible after all this I TRIED TO BY-PASS THE CUSSING FILTER HURTS, and its hard to be the congenial, considerate, loving, happy never P. Off guy that I am (still looking for that lightning bolt to strike me dead lying like that)

My Son and DIL have given the Wife and I the best gift so far we are GRANDPARENTS. Zachary Louis Wright was born a few weeks ago and HE EVEN KIND OF LIKES ME!!!! at least he hasn't dropped a cluster bomb on me and laughs when he sees my face, of course most do. I NEED to spend time with the 3 of them life seems so short when you get older and that happens by the day. I go over to their place and watch others do the work (having fun to me) its a good thing for Son and Family to be with his Grandparents we need to know where we come from in this world and what better way that to work and play and talk about things OTHER THAN POLITICS i'm fortunate enough to have spent time with them as will he.

That's the skinny on this it may seem trivial to some but to me I have to get my weak mind around things to make them happen the way I WANT THEM TO. The family said I OVER THINK things just let the happen and live with it. Well over thinking is what has gotten me this far and not to bad because I never thought that I would have a Grandson and a family that for some unknown reason likes me. Im not gone yet so see ya around.

BIG

PS Gary it's Gail

Big,

Glad you cleared up which short leg you're talking about!

The wife and I have four kids between us and seven grandkids - the youngest was 7 weeks last Friday. I've always been the kind to just get it done myself and not depend on others. My son told me to knock it off and pass on some of what I've learned to them instead of just saying, "I'll take care of that. " It's kind of hard to do, but I guess I see his point. I have several tractors, trailers, and a pretty well set-up shop and need to make sure it's good for something besides an auction when I punch my time clock and go TU. Spending time with the family is what matters most. Enjoy yourself and your family!

Bud

PS

The wife is making me go to a wedding in Red Lodge on Saturday. Guess I'll have to "force myself" to run up the Beartooth highway first.

Drive safe!! have a good time in MT. Weddings in MT have a tendency to get out of hand with the drink, course I wouldn't know anything about that :D I was just the singer at the last one I went to ,they kept buying one for the band until I couldn't remember the lyrics, so made up my own(Glad it wasn't a real religious bunch) until I had some more beer and memory came back. 6 Pack memory loss. :-laf

BIG, I hope things turn out for the best- and you know they will. I hope you stay on as a subscriber as were gonna be here. You never know- you might want to stop by on your therapy rest days. The things they can do are incredible. My 68 YO MIL just had one year ago an ANKLE replacement due to severe arthritis and shogrins (sp?) disease. She's made a heckuva comeback and now can come out with us where as she was practically home bound. She had setbacks and wasn't looking good for a bit, but she didn't give up. One thing I can say is that you can plan but GOD laughs (if you're a believer) Please don't rush your recovery and do what your body can handle. In '06 I broke my foot IN JUNE. The happiest time of the year. I had to sit out all of June and part of July. 6 weeks is 6 weeks. Couldn't rush the cast off no matter what.
Indeed enjoy your blessed family- especially the new one- doodles and all:-laf.

Happy trails my friend!! Family comes first... Even though we on TDR are that forgotten about 2nd or 3rd cousin who's name you can't quite remember :-laf

Big,
Good luck in the future and I hope everything turns out great for you. Enjoy MT and the BIG SKY COUNTRY it is real pretty up there too.
Jim W.

BIGNASTY, I'm so sorry to learn that you are having trouble with your injured leg. Seems bone is difficult to treat, however, with today's medical knowledge perhaps they will be able to deal with it much more effectively than years ago. I hope things will go well for you, and you will regain mobility. DJW.

I thank you for your thoughts. Im trying to stay off of it as much as I can so I can go hunting. I will not be packing in and out of camp but staying in camp and going out for the day Guiding the hunters. The family has been trying to get me to do that for a few years but I like the trail and the packing of the stock so much, I guess its the trucker still in me. Then in Oct will go in for the problem. The Doc is a fine surgeon , she put my other knee in and i'm a happy camper with that. Most of all she's more than A FREIND of the family she is family. I try to think Positive about it and have my Pard Greg Harman doing his part in helping me and other family members out with his Guidance . His time will come to come to our place and he and his family enjoy our Montana for themselves. Thanks again for your thoughts
