Using Waste Motor Oil for Diesel Fuel

Anyone out there have 4 qts. of Severe Gear 75-90 they could sell me shipped to 92117? Amsoil is requiring a one year membership as I am a prior member. I'll only need this small purchase in the next year and it won't pay for itself. I've already got some Amsoil and am going to install a Mag-Hytec and just need to supplement what I've got. I was hoping somebody decided to go with a heavier blend and had some sitting around. Thanks.

You would do very well to find a Schaeffers oil rep and look into thier Supreme Gear Lube #293. It has the soluble Moly and will reduce friction very well and is a super product. 75/90 weight.

How do I do this? I've tried multiple times, and can't seem to get anywhere. I was told that without a local dealer, I had to buy case quantities of what I wanted, and have it shipped to me.

I wanted to try a variety of products, but because of the case requirement, was only able to get the fuel additive and some engine oil; these two alone were well over $300.

Is there somewhere I can order these products? I'd be willing to drive a 50 +/- radius around Knoxville, TN, or order off a website? The Amsoil site is very user friendly... is there something like this for Schaeffer's?

I believe the Schaeffer's products are top of the line, but I would venture that many people are turned away simply because it seems very difficult to purchase anything.

Schaeffer Oil 3. 0 | Industrial Lubricants | Diesel Fuel Additive | Synthetic Motor Oils

Then go to their dealer locator.

Or call Schaeffers and ask for the nearest RETAIL story to you.

The dealers are for wholesale and have a $300 minimum. If you buy some gear lube, some motor oil, and some fuel additive it becomes easy to get to $300. You will have enough for several oil changes.

you will like their products. Also, they are less expensive than the big advertised names, because they don't spend big advertising dollars.

I did this, and there is no dealer within 100 mile radius of Knoxville that carries a good variety of products... or even the basics I'm looking for.

I did the $300 minimum order thing last time, but they still had the case quantity rule. I could only buy the cases of engine oil and fuel additive. To buy case quantities of the other products I wanted to try would have put my bill over $2,000.

I understand about the advertising, but I'm interested in the products, have money to buy (at least in reasonable quantity), and can't purchase!

What am I missing?

I believe the reps should get a retail dealer set-up in thier area, it is a good thing and will let people try each product before big purchases.

Say, Bob, if you still want, it's nothing for me to go down to my Amsoil dealer and get some. Problem is I live in CT and can't imagine the shipping would be too cheap to CA. Let me know. PM me if need be.

Call them... they didn't list a local dealer for me either, but they had a guy practically next door when I called them.

I'm running Schaeffer's S9000 in my truck right now... seems like nice stuff so far!
