Help please... my 05 runs between 198 and 210 with little load and ambient temps in the low 90's. (I have an Attitude monitor which reads the same as the stock temp guage. ) Can anyone else in the hot areas tell me what they're seening for temps? I also can't verify that the electronic fan is working as intended. Thanx.

Our 05 ran similar temps when it was 10 degrees outside. I think it is just the nature of the newer motors to run warmer (intendedly). Ours floats around 200 all day long, if i'm runnin 35 around town empty or 80 up and down hills an the interstate grossing 26k.

That's right where it should run. You will know when the fan really starts pulling air, sounds like a jet taking off. If you want to check the fan for sure, cover the radiator with an old towel and run it hard for a few minutes. When you see the gauge climb, stop and pull it off, then start driving. You will hear the fan. Just shut the A/C off first. With no air flow, the head pressure will get too high.
