I've seen so many threads about this topic, and was just wondering how many of us "HP Junkies" have went through a motor or 2 (or however many you have)? No bashing or laughing here, I took out #5 too.



Also, if you could chime in and say how you did what you done.

lost a valve seat and took out #4 cyl and cyl head... . it was great. .

Lost #4 valve seat, new piston, 05 head,injector ok,turbos ok. Happened on start up never moved the truck.

:--) i dont have a total on repairs, i could make it run again for 1400. 00, or i could work it over and be in it for another 6000. 00 :-laf

burnt a hole thru #4 was not cheap but did alot more while tour apart
